Training workshop for interviewers in Europe

ICIP and the Commission for the Clarification of Truth, Coexistence and Non-Repetition of Colombia organised in Barcelona the first training of a group of people in charge of interviewing victims of the Colombian conflict in exile in order to document cases and thus contribute to the work of clarifying the facts, recognition and memory.

The training took place from 28 February to 3 March 2019 at the Casa de la Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and brought together forty participants with experience in working with victims of the conflict and the armed conflict in Colombia, and with knowledge of the mandate of the Truth Commission. The workshops were led by Truth Commissioners Carlos Martin Beristain and Alejandro Valencia Villa.
