“Dealing with the pain of the past and recognising ourselves through the other, the different”
This video-minute produced by the International Catalan Institute for Peace (ICIP), based in Barcelona, presents the efforts of the Colombian Truth Commission, through its support groups (Nodos) in Europe, which work to clarify the facts surrounding the Colombian conflict and promote recognition of the victims. The Commission includes the voices of the diaspora around the world; in Europe, ICIP serves as the Technical Secretariat of the support groups. As noted by Fabián Correa of Nodo Francia, it is a matter of “dealing with the pains of the past and recognising ourselves through the other, the different.”
