In order to ensure the country’s and especially the victims’ right to know the truth, the peace agreement between the Government and the FARC-EP (now a political party) proposed the creation of the Commission for the Clarification of Truth, Coexistence and Non-Repetition. Decree 588 of April 2017 defines its mandate. Why do we Colombians need this Commission?
